I am 75 years old. I moved from Brisbane to Bribie Island 15 months ago into an Independent Retirement Village.
In Brisbane I had lots of friends and was involved in many group activities which kept me busy.
When I came to Bribie I missed my friends, stopped any form of exercise and so the weight just piled on. I had no energy to even go for a walk. I suffered from reflux & heartburn all my life & needed prescription medicine daily to have relief.
I didn't realize how big I was until I went shopping for Xmas last year. I ended up buying a big black dress, got home, tried it on & it didn't fit me. I couldn't stop my tears. I wanted to share my daughter-in-law's story about the Herbal Aloe. It brought tears to my eyes and pride to my heart that I could introduce her to such a wonderful product that works! Herbalife is awesome.
Her Story - My grandbaby will be a year old in a week and she is the light of my life. I would like to share this story with other people who may have the same problem. When she was only three weeks old I was holding her after feeding her a bottle, all of a sudden she was gasping for air, and she turned blue and lost control of all her bodily functions. We were losing her.
We called 911 and she was taken to the local hospital. There they said it was a reaction to her formula and to give her one called Nutramagin. Later that same evening it happened again and her doctor said to get her to RainbowsHospital in Cleveland. Four days later after IV's and many tests she was diagnosed with chronic acid reflux.
The problem continued over time, though not as bad as that first day, and the only solution we heard from the doctors was to increase the amount of medicine she was taking and that when she got a little older she would probably have to have surgery. The amazing thing to me is that last night we celebrated our 2nd anniversary. My husband, Jim, has been taking the Herbalife Ultimate Program for about 2 months now. He lost 22 pounds the first 21 days, and has continued to lose inches and pounds since then. He also has had a problem with severe heartburn if he eats anything even mildly spicy or strongly flavoured.
